Web Design: SMASHCRAFT

SMASHCRAFT’s artist, Kyle Martin, wanted a website to not only feature his comics and the world he created, but also as a place to drive social media ads, convention traffic, and establish his product line off of Amazon.

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Kyle to develop his website for his line of collectible figurines and his comic. I spent a lot of time getting to know his extensive world of characters, lands, and history before I began building his site on Shopify. Kyles goal was not sales on characters as it was increasing the time customers spent on the website. I filled the site with links to allow customers to browse all of the SMASHCRAFT world, Future Zero, and all of it’s characters with ease.

The website is now supplemental to the SMASHCRAFT Instagram Account, Kyle’s personal art Instagram, the SMASHCRAFT Amazon account, and Kyles trips to conventions like PopCon and ComicCon. This website was unique to make as E-Commerce websites always want the customers to have the least amount of clicks possible before making a purchase, while this one aimed for customers to spend a longer amount of time exploring the characters, reading comics, and learning about Future Zero.

Web Design: Sincerely Hers

Sincerely Hers has over 10k listings & wanted to feature the top 3k on a website that operates like a marketplace. With that many listings they needed to figure out how to build a brand that can sell products like soap dispensers to music boxes to slippers.

I began building the Sincerely Hers website while I was learning the Shopify platform, 3k listings was no small task on the back end. Loading listing images, getting alt text in place, developing H1 headers for each page was all vital to this project as the company wanted this to function as customers go-to for giftware and home décor shopping. I had never done anything like this before, but this website has seen an increase in organic traffic by 20% year over year. The amount of backend SEO data this website has, and the frequency of content updates and new listings that are loaded keeps the organic search going with support from the Sincerely Hers Meta social accounts, Amazon Buy with Prime, and Shopify funded Email blasts.
